Artist Bio

I hold a Master of Arts in Social Foundations, a Master of Arts in Studio Ceramic Arts and a Bachelors of Arts from Eastern Michigan University.  I taught in southeastern Michigan for 38 years while maintaining a ceramics studio. Upon retirement I took a new path via Schoolcraft College's welding and ceramics programs. Sculptural welding is now occupying my creative energy. I continue to concentrate on the challenge of finding sculptural solutions by investigating form and its relationship to negative space.
